Sleep accessories should support a comfortable environment—not override your body’s warning signs. Read the product instructions and test the fit while you are awake.
Start gently
Use the lightest comfortable fit. Earplugs should never be forced deep into the ear canal. Straps and wraps should not feel restrictive, cause numbness, or interfere with breathing.
Adhesive products need extra care
Patch-test adhesives if you have sensitive skin. Do not apply to broken, irritated, or sunburned skin. Mouth tape is not suitable for everyone; do not use it if you cannot breathe freely through your nose, after consuming alcohol or sedatives, or if a clinician has advised against it.
Keep personal items personal
Clean reusable products as directed, let them dry fully, and do not share items that contact the face, mouth, nose, or ears.
Know when to stop
Discontinue use if you experience pain, irritation, dizziness, breathing difficulty, or other concerning symptoms. Accessories are not treatments for snoring or sleep apnea. Seek qualified medical advice for persistent snoring, gasping, breathing pauses, or ongoing daytime sleepiness.
